Has been spray painted as can be seen in the pics and mounting stand offs are distorted - they will need to bent back prior installation. Not perfect, not terrible, a fair usable oem replacement part. Functions as it should with wear and tear you expect for the age. Not a big issue and can be easily accomplished - This area seen in the last photo.

Otherwise muffler is 100% functional with no real rust present. Removed from an 02 XR650R muffler assembly is in fair condition. Everything just seems to last longer here in the Mojave. This helps save a tree and both our wallet's.
