Details:

Small dent near the joint of the header pipe and muffler. Muffler is stamped hm323. I would install 2 short sheet metal screws, one at each end of the hole to secure the baffle in place.

Great find for your nice bike. Left side, lower, number 2 muffler. Very nice looking original muffler for all years of the Honda CB500 four and CB550 four from a loose baffle wore a small hole on the frame side of the pipe this can be fixed. No rust and just a minor scratch area on outer side.
