I did some research and found I could remove the baffles, enrich sound as well as performance. Here is an original exhaust from my own bike which I rode and enjoyed for two years.

It ran great and sounded fabulous. The only thing I didn't like about my 2009 Vulcan is that it was too quiet. Installation is a swap out of course, and everything will fit back as original. There is on this model Vulcan, an excess fuel return line, right behind the air cleaner.

This line should be plugged off. There are not any scratches or marks on this exhaust, except for very minor cosmetic ones, which won't even photograph. I knew it was my bike, and we both liked it.

This exhaust in my opinion sounds like it is supposed to, and a whole lot more fun. Enjoy this one. For a custom exhaust. It did not sound like drag pipes, but sounded custom.

It was very distinctive, throaty, and powerful.
