The diameter is consistent through out the entire length with no constriction of flow. The header and pipe are mandrel bent and formed out of as shown in the pictures, the pipes come polished. The item up for offer is a brand new head pipe,pipe and flange for the Yamaha Xt 500 and tt 500 that will fit on all model years this setup has the head pipe a male fitment into the pipe, not like other headers on the market which theirs may lead to exhaust blow by between the head pipe and pipe.

Let keep those side covers clean. We enjoy seeing how well these fit on your thumped. This is a very tight fit. 45mm t304 stainless steel.

An increased and consistent flow aids in increasing overall performance. So don't park your thumped with the pipe against the wall, show it off.

The flange is also made from stainless steel. The inlet and collar are welded in place for durability and exhaust flow. One tab has been added for mounting purposes.

Keep sending us your installation pictures. As you know stainless steel will long outlast all mild steel applications.

We ve had several requests for a mounting tab so here it is. For the 1976 Xt users, the rear brake light switch will need to be relocated. If the tire clears the swing arm, it will clear the pipe.
